Join

Anyone interested in youth research can join the Finnish Youth Research Society. Currently, the Society has over 300 members.

Members of the Youth Research Society receive 25 % discount of the Society’s publications and discounts on participation fees for events arranged by the Society. Beyond this the Society provides assistance grants to enable its members to participate in seminars in the field.
 

Fees

The membership fee is € 25 per year (€ 10 for students). Members also receive a discount on subscriptions to Nuorisotutkimus magazine.

If you would like to become a member please contact the organizational secretary Ms Sarianne Karikko for more information about the membership.

Membership is granted by the Society’s governing board. The approval can take several weeks depending on the meeting schedules of the board.

After you have been granted the membership we will send you an information letter and invoice for the membership fee. 

NUOTTA e-mailing list

Anyone at all interested in youth research can join into the NUOTTA e-mailing list maintained by the society. There you will find discussions and announcements about matters related to youth research.

Most of the messages are in Finnish and we do not therefore add our English speaking members automatically to NUOTTA. If you wish to join please follow the below mentioned instructions to do that.
